Pour poser correctement la robinetterie de compression, suivez ces instructions :
1. Montez la robinetterie de compression dans l'ordre et dans le sens indiqués sur les figures ci-après.
2. Insérez le tuyau et le joint EPDM approprié dans la robinetterie et vérifiez qu'il n'y ait ni saleté ni dommage au joint torique.
3. Enfilez l'écrou sur le filet et serrez-le à la main, pour un serrage complet utilisez une clé de la taille appropriée AC 670 / AC 671.
Les pièces en caoutchouc ne doivent en aucun cas être graissées avec des huiles minérales, pour le matériau EPDM, utilisez uniquement une graisse à base de silicone.

- Comment choisir la bonne taille de raccord ? La dimension du filet doit correspondre exactement au filet du tuyau ou de l'armature auquel le raccord est connecté - les abréviations FF (filetage intérieur-intérieur) et MF (filetage extérieur-intérieur) dans le nom indiquent le type de filetage sur chaque côté.
- Est-ce qu'un matériau d'étanchéité est nécessaire lors de l'installation ? Oui, pour les raccords filetés, on utilise habituellement de la bande de teflon ou un fil de chanvre avec une colle d'étanchéité pour garantir une étanchéité parfaite du raccord.
- Faut-il faire appel à un professionnel pour l'installation ? Un raccord fileté simple peut être réalisé par un bricoleur averti, mais pour toute intervention sur un réseau déjà fonctionnel (notamment en gaz), nous recommandons de faire appel à un installateur qui vérifiera également l'étanchéité du raccord.
