- Quel outil est nécessaire pour l'installation de ce raccord ? Les raccords press (à sertir) nécessitent des ciseaux à sertir spécialisés avec le type de mâchoire correct (généralement désigné B, F ou TH selon le système) correspondant aux dimensions et au type du raccord – sans l'outil approprié, la connexion ne peut pas être réalisée ni vérifiée.
- Comment savoir si la connexion est correctement sertie ? Les raccords press de qualité possèdent un indicateur de sertissage (par exemple un joint torique qui fuirait en cas de sertissage incomplet) – avant le coulage dans le mur ou le dallage, il est toujours nécessaire d'effectuer un essai de pression sur l'ensemble du système.
- Est-il possible de démonter une connexion après le sertissage ? Non, contrairement au raccordement par visserie, le raccord serti est permanent et son démontage nécessite de couper le raccord et de le remplacer par un nouveau.
- Faut-il que l'installation soit effectuée par un professionnel ? Oui, le sertissage des raccords nécessite des compétences techniques et un outil correctement étalonné – nous recommandons de confier le travail à un chauffagiste ou plombier, notamment pour les connexions qui seront coulées dans le mur ou le dallage, sans possibilité de vérification ultérieure.

IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
