L'installation d'eau domestique automatique avec pompe immergée 3" STM 24 avec PC-13 est utilisée principalement de manière saisonnière, principalement pour l'arrosage. The automatic, press control PC-13 with manometer also provides dry running protection – it switches off the pump when it is running without water. This protects the pump from damage that could occur when it is running without water. After switching off, it is restarted by pressing the RESET button. We recommend using the automatic, press control PC-13 with manometer in water supply systems with clean water without impurities and sediments; otherwise, it is necessary to install an appropriate filtre on the input part of the device. A suitable alternative is also: Control unit PC-16. A major advantage of the PC-13 control unit is its ease of use. The BRIO PC-13 control unit with manometer – press control – has a built-in check valve to prevent water from flowing back into the pump. Operation and basic data: The PC-13 control unit with manometer will start the pump for approximately 15 seconds at the moment of connection. The pump will then start again whenever the operating pressure is reached, for example when the pressure in the system drops, such as when a valve is opened. Unlike other pressure switches and control units that turn off when a certain pressure is reached, the PC-13 control unit with manometer turns off when the minimum flow rate is reached. When this condition is met, the device delays the shutdown of the device by 7 to 15 seconds. This reduces the frequency of pump starts at low flow rates. Installation: The PC-13 control unit with manometer can be installed at any point between the pump and the first point of withdrawal, provided that the direction of the arrow, which is located on the bottom side of the device (at the thread) between two 1" connections, corresponds to the direction of water flow. A perfect seal of the hydraulic connections must be ensured in the distribution system. If a pump with a maximum allowable pressure of 8 bar is used, it is necessary to install a pressure reducing valve on the input of the PC-13. The device is factory-set to 1,5 bar, which is optimal for most uses.
